Ruba celebrated its 103rd anniversary of it's inception as a club dedicated to Philadelphia communities. First, Russians and people of Slavic decent, now (as of 2010) Member's and their communities -- supporting "Social Arts-Entertainment" and of course the ever-present "Physics & physics related activities." And yes, we know Ruba is devoted to good times, magical moments, parties, shows, weddings, and those elusive after-hours experiences more fun than you can remember. America is great again @rubaclub . Membership applications available.
Special activities brewing, But BOOK YOUR EVENT at Ruba any night (That is to say, "But, Book your event at Ruba any night. Not even sure how you'd "but book" your event, or how the but plays into bookings?).
Remember, you are welcome to book events at Ruba or join as a member. Members can hold events, parties, shows and come in and enjoy activities any night (nightly event, ping-pong, pool, food, and the vintage bar). Without memberships or an event you are coming to attend, you may not be able to enjoy Ruba on non-event nights or during the "After-Hours" times for which Ruba won Philadelphia Magazine's New Nightlife Award! I think you should just go to sleep, but membership applications are available for the full Ruba Experience.

A nod to Ruba member of the month (membership is not required to attend Ruba events, but it is to host an event), member #502, Julia Hall. Jules is a talented designer bartender, and hospitality planner. Also Member of the month again, none other than member #221 Philadelphia Argentine Tango School's Meredith Klein. Ruba never looks better than when Meredith & Matt, et al. set up in the Ballroom.
