Ruba is Your Neighborhood, Concert Hall, Venue, Theater & Cabaret, Wedding & Party, Speakeasy & Hangout. We host private events and after-hours adventure, cocktails, atmosphere, dancing, ping-pong, & pool. Ruba has 2 floors hosting a vaudeville style Ballroom-Theater, and a vintage Cabaret-Speakeasy Bar
A RICH HISTORY
Founded in 1914, Ruba Club is a 100 year-old social club and bi-level event space located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia. Ruba is one of the most unique spaces in the city housing a vintage Cabaret-Speakeasy bar, dance floor, and stage on the lower level and a full theatrical stage upstairs in a vaudeville style Ballroom-Theater. Ruba presents weekly entertainment and provides a nightly experience that has kept visitors coming back for decades.

RUBA donates proceeds to the LPG Physics Fund of The Philadelphia Foundation.

AN AMAZING VENUE
RUBA is a unique venue that is perfect for a wide variety of life-events and entertainment in our Ballroom-Theater or Cabaret-Speakeasy Bar. Ruba has been used as a boutique sound stage, film & live production studio, music venue, professsional theater, cabaret, as well as parties and events. We have a state of the art sound system, as well as food and catering, full service bar, full theatrical stage and seating for 200 guests. Our events are as unique as our members- RUBA offers a wide range of custom options and configurations.
